Provided recommendations for best management practices for erosion control, designed stormwater management plans and devices and prepared drawings for the SWPPP and Hydrogeological Report.

J.C. Stone operates the Ludwig Quarry off Old Union Road in accordance with Maine DEP regulations and Town of Washington Mining Ordinance and Conditional Use Permit for a Medium Size Project (1-5 acres). As such, J.C. Stone had adopted and implemented a Reclamation Plan that limits acreage open to excavation prior to reclamation, that commits to restore areas affected to a similar pre-excavation condition, that is conducted in accordance with best management practices and that stockpiles topsoil, overburden and grout rock in sufficient quantities for use in reclaiming disturbed land.
