To rezone for additional boat storage, seasonal maintenance, repair and parking, and to create an underdrained soil filter system to treat stormwater and a landscape buffer to improve neighborhood aesthetics.
Provided civil and site engineering services, regulatory permitting, stormwater management and construction management.
Worked with attorney Larry Clough to rezone the property from residential use to industrial use. This project removed an existing building and trees, and re-graded the site to use for additional boat storage in winter and to use for overflow parking in the spring and summer months. All work was performed with the requirements and standards of Maine DEP's Best Management Practices for Maine's Boatyards and Marinas as well as its Clean Boatyards and Marinas program.
