Bridgton Academy - Athletic Fields Reconstruction

North Bridgton, Maine

Objective

Reconstruct two athletic fields including a football/lacrosse field and a baseball diamond utilizing a synthetic turf build-up and subsurface drainage system.

BCE Role

Performed research and application preparation related to the permitting process with the Town and MDEP. Also provided project management, design, and drawing development for the project site plan. Due to the crossing of the three acre threshold of total impervious area constructed on the campus since 1970, this project triggered a Site Location of Development (SLOD) permit with MDEP. This application is for the construction of a synthetic turf football field and baseball diamond in the same area that the existing grass playing fields are located today on the Bridgton Academy campus.
